We offer an extensive variety of programs:
Former Representative Irv Slosberg graduated from Roosevelt University. During his term in the Florida House of Representatives, his focus was on highway safety and senior citizens. Former Representative Slosberg is the CEO of the Dori Slosberg Foundation, a non-for-profit agency devoted to highway safety in honor of his daughter who passed away in a 1996 car crash. Representative Slosberg was instrumental in passing legislation such as, mandatory driver signals, and provided a surefire funding source for driver’s education by adding $5 to traffic tickets called the Dori Slosberg Driver Education Safety Act (an approximate funding of 14 million each year). Other legislation included mandatory minor seatbelts (or they may get pulled over), harsher penalties for repeat DUI offenders including breathalyzers installed in cars to start the ignition, and he extended the statute of limitations against exploitation of the elderly bill. Representative Slosberg passed the Alexander Ware Memorial Barrier System on Florida's Turnpike in memory of Alexander Ware who passed away in his mother's arms when their car went into a canal due to lack of guard rails. Representative Slosberg brought in 13 million dollars of state funding for guardrails on the turnpike, instituted vision tests for 80-year-old drivers, brought in 1 million for the South County Jewish Federation Transportation Services for senior transportation, and 500 thousand for healthcare funding for Holocaust survivors. Irv is a humanitarian, working to save lives. When disaster struck, Irv worked tirelessly to make sure that food, water and medical supplies were delivered to those in need, insurance claims were processed quickly, and doctors and nurses were driven door-to-door to ensure the well-being of his constituents.
